Here at Gresham High School, the dance team, The Rhythmettes, is supported by many. Those who follow The Rhythmettes’ progress have noticed a significant amount of growth throughout the Fall and State seasons.

Pohrman also noted that she thought the Fall routine was very dark and almost scary, while the State routine was very strong and powerful. She added that the dancers were more elegant than scary in the State routine.
Pohrman, who is on the dance team, said that her favorite routines were the hip-hop routine that they performed at a football game, and she loved the State routine.
Freshman Sara Edmondson also said that she saw a major growth in terms of ability within the dance team.
Edmondson said.
She believes that the dance team should be supported by more people in the school. Her favorite routines were the kickline routine that they also performed at a football game and the Fall routine.
Freshman Emmonee Flanagan said that she did not notice a huge growth but she saw some little improvements.
“They did amazing during the Fall season and State season, but in my opinion, the Fall season and routine was better,”
Her favorite routine was the Fall routine, which they remained undefeated with for the whole season. They continued on to be Fall category champions with that routine.
