Congrats to the Dance Team

GHS Dance team went to the State Competition and placed 8th in 6A. We had Savannah Smith make the All-State Team and Mariah Garcia was the State Champion in Drill Down Winner.

They also went to Nationals in California for the first time and placed 2nd with their Jazz routine. Mariah Garcia placed in the top 15th at Nationals for Drill Down and it was a different style.

“This was a big honor to the team. We had a wonderful trip and got to dance at Disneyland,” Dance coach Jennifer Wilson said.
