Portland Wins Series against Oklahoma City in Playoffs

 The Portland Trail Blazers record for the 2018-19 NBA season was 53-29. They were the third seed in the western conference. The team leaders were Damian Lillard with an average of 25.8 points and 6.9 assists per game, and Jusuf Nurkic with 10.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game.

  In the first game, the Blazers beat the Thunder 104-99, their first playoff win since 2016 against the LA Clippers.. The scoring leader for each team were Damian Lillard with 30 points, and Paul George with 26. Enes Kanter accomplished a playoff career high of 18 rebounds, while adding 20 points.

  In the second game, the Blazers had beat the Thunder again, the score being 114-94. CJ McCollum scored 33 points and Paul George with 27. Maurice Harkless and Steven Adams both lead in rebounds with 9.

  In game three, the Blazers lost to the Thunder, 120-108. Lillard scored 32 points and had 6 assists, and Westbrook scored 33 with 11 assists.

  In game four, the Blazers won with 111 points and the Thunder had 98. CJ McCollum had 27 points and 4 rebounds, and Paul George had 32 points with 10 rebounds.

  The final game was a “nail biter” game, as fans were hoping they would win to go onto the next round. The Blazers won the series with 118-115. Lillard had 50 points and 7 rebounds, along with 6 assists. George had 36 points with 9 rebounds. This was by far the best game due to Lillard achieving a step-back three pointer from 37 feet out, in front of George’s face.

  In the second round, The Trail Blazers are playing the Denver Nuggets. They lost in the first game by 8 points, with 121-113. In the second game, the Blazers won with 97-90. The next game is on May 3rd, at 7:30, at the Moda Center.
